Kuching in 2005
Arrive in Kuching from KL on my birthday. Fly on a Boeing 777 with the new look design on its body. Arrival at Kuching airport is greeted with drizzling and a friend took me straight to the hotel. I can't remember how many times I have come to Kuching. The first time I step on Sarawak soil was in 1974 when a Fokker air craft flying from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, made a fuel stop here. Then I came back for an overnight stop on Feri Malaysia. The ferry berth at Pending and I and my family took a taxi ride to a pottery to buy some pots.
This time around is my first time staying at Harbour view and my room had a very nice view, facing the Sarawak River. Immediately as I locked myself in the room, I switched on my laptop to see whether there is any wireless connection. At first, Yahooo!!!!!!!, there is one - Crown Plaza. Then darn......it is private and I have to has a username and password to access. I first tasted it in Sibu a few years back. The fruit can be boiled and dip in soysauce and can be eaten just like that. This time I found a new dish that is this Dabai Fried Rice (Nasi Goreng Dabai). I travel a lot in Malaysia on official duty. And that give me the opportunity to see Malaysia and taste food that is not found in KL or my hometown back in Alor Setar.
Since it was raining, my plan to browse the pubs nearby has been canceled. Went up to my room and as usual strip naked. switched on my laptop and read erotic stories that I downloaded from the net. After shutting down, jump into bed and mmmmmm..... masturbate.
